Gallery North is pleased to present the work of artist Lynn Dong from June 1–30, 2026. Lynn’s paintings explore the quiet ways light moves through the world—across sky, water, and bloom. Each piece captures a fleeting moment, inviting reflection, stillness, peace, and a sense of connection.

Lynn currently works primarily in acrylics, with a focus on landscapes. Inspired by Sorolla, Sargent, Monet, and Renoir, she is drawn to exploring light, color, and atmosphere. What began as a pandemic hobby in 2021 quickly grew into a dedicated painting practice, and she now brings a thoughtful contemporary perspective to the gallery.

In Lynn’s words: “I love to explore light, color, and atmosphere. Whether painting a fleeting sunrise or striving to capture a likeness in a portrait, I seek to evoke a sense of place and feeling that transcends the canvas. Through each brushstroke, I aim to create art that reflects the world around me while inviting the viewer into a timeless, emotional experience.”
