Hannah Mason is a printmaker based in Shoreline Washington. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and works in the field of nonprofit marketing and communications, raising awareness of social issues and solutions for youth and families. She has an affinity for owls, good food and good friends, and loves hiking and camping around the pacific northwest with her husband and energetic Boston Terrier.

She always enjoyed drawing and painting as a hobby but found printmaking in 2018, fell in love with it and has not looked back. Hannah sees carving is an act of destroying and subtracting to create something new. She draws inspiration from nature and humanity and seeks to inspire that love and appreciation in others through her work. What she appreciates most about printmaking is its graphic quality of lines and patterns; the repetitive nature of printing yet the chaotic imperfections of texture and ink. Soft and strong, power and grace, she’s drawn to the paradox.
