Katie Leute

Katie is a fine art jeweler and designer who transforms the raw beauty of the earth into wearable art. Her work is an alchemy of myth, folklore, and the natural world—where ancient stories and organic forms merge into something timeless. She draws inspiration from the sharp geometries of crystalline structures and the fluid curves of vines and flowing water, balancing precision with an untamed spirit. Each piece she creates honors the natural world, embracing the inclusions and imperfections in gemstones as echoes of the earth’s story. Through her hand-crafted work, the mundane becomes extraordinary, and earthly treasures find new life as adornments that carry meaning, memory, and magic.

She has studied jewelry and metals at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, WA, Tacoma Metal Arts in Tacoma, WA, and at the New Approach School for Jewelers in Franklin, TN. She holds a BFA from Eastern Washington University in Visual Design, and has worked as a designer and art director for 15 years.
