She took a break from painting, but continued on her creative journey. Aside from painting, she is a quilter, gardener, card maker, and jewelry maker. Recently she has begun painting again, and is thoroughly enjoying it.
Her paintings have been accepted to the Juried Art Exhibit at both the Edmonds Arts Festival 2019, and the 2019 Shoreline Arts Festival. She also recently had several paintings on exhibit at Café Louvre in Edmonds. She is a proud Certified Native Tribal Artist with the Tlingit and Haida Central Council Indian Tribes of Alaska.
“I enjoy the ease, versatility and vibrancy of painting with acrylics. My artistic style is to paint in bright, bold hues, as it highlights the natural beauty of the subject. I am especially inspired by our majestic Pacific Northwest Mountains, the Puget Sound, our gorgeous sunsets, beaches, lakes and the amazing local wildlife. With each season as beautiful and inspiring as the last, there is never a lack of subject matter to paint.” —Theresa Williams
